This has been an exciting year for us!  We have seen so much and been so many places!  We visited Dinosaur State Park in TX where Peter had a great time with the dinos and then we made our way down to Guadalupe State Park where we tested out the water in the winter time.  Nice.  We drove to Austin to get our retirement straightened out.  Then we decided to wander Texas and up to Nebraska for a while.  We made our way to Georgia, stopping in Savannah to see the history. We did the first part of this trip in a terrible Terra.  It was the worst and best of Motorhomes.  Too many things to list what was wrong and right with it.  We eventually traded it in for the Discovery.  It was much better. And it fit all of us better.  We then, closed on our house and moved onto Amarillo TX, Santa Fe NM, Taos NM, Albuquerque NM, Mesa AZ, Flagstaff AZ, up to Beaver UT where we worked for 6 months.  While there we were able to visit with my mom and the kids, see Bryce Canyon and Zion.  We worked in Beaver from mid-April - the end of September. 
We also attended a church for a short time while in Beaver.  We left Beaver and headed for Wyoming to miss the Colorado Passes.  We did not want to go up the hills and down the hills.  We stayed in Evanston WY and spent the night at Walmart along with so many others.  We stopped to see Steve's folks and then headed through yonder and dale to get to Jessica's to see her family.  We then made it to LA where the boats go by day and night.  We hope you enjoy the pics and you have yourself a wonderful Christmas.

Our prayer for you and yours:
Lord, I pray that Christmas would not sneak up on me this year. I don't want to arrive on Christmas morning with only my gifts wrapped and tasks accomplished. I want a heart that is full and prepared for Your coming. Help me this season to be active in waiting for You. Give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart to understand the signs, beauty, and wonder of the One I am waiting for. This season, give me an awareness of the carols, the cards, and the people around me....:

The Battle is the Lords! A voice somewhere out of nowhere comes and tells you you are not worthy, you need to just leave this earth and it will be better.  The battle of voices rage in your head, who do you believe? Waiting/Wading in the UNTILS until .... part 2.

Hello, Welcome back.... So, in the last post about the UNTILS, we left with the scriptures in our hands and hopefully in your heart as well.  But I felt that there is more to our story than just the scripture.  I know, for me, there is more to this story.   I have always been a planner, I guess one could say wading in the UNTILS.   I love planning but what I have realized over the course of this past year is that wading in the UNTILS doesn't really allow GOD free Reign in our lives.  "Man plans his ways but the LORD directs their steps and makes them sure."   We know when we get ahead of God, He can make us flip on a dime.  He has and sometimes we have had to eat the change.  As RVers, our years and seasons begin to blend together.  Maybe for you too.  We have been living the RV life twice.  Once for about 2 years.  In the first years, Steve was deeply in debt, most would see NO WAY OUT!  But we got out of i...

Preparations

In everyone's life, it takes prep work to take on a new job, a new outlook, a new hobby, a new pet, a new child, or a new way of living.  For us it's no different. We are on the move every few months, sometimes every six months these days.  We need to prepare for the move, we need to see what the area is like, we need to find the Wal-mart and sometimes we have found a local church.  This time seems a bit different though. We have a Pastor's conference at Perry Stone's.  He is an evangelist and God has done and continues to do an incredible work in this man.  Here is the link to his site.  Perry Stone    His site is loaded with a great deal of learning.  He also hosts and does Manna Fest on TV.
