I love Jews for Jesus.  The work they do is inspiring and real.  The work in Israel is important and key to the coming of the Lord.  It's really going to happen and it could be in our life time.  Are you ready?  Pentecost is June 12th Pentecost- what does that mean?  Borrowed from Jews for Jesus.org How Much Does Pentecost?* by David Brickner May 16, 2009 Pentecost. Is it a denomination? A supernatural experience? A date on a liturgical church calendar? Perhaps it is the surname of a beloved Bible scholar? Actually, Pentecost is first and foremost one of the most important and least appreciated Jewish festivals in the Bible. And since it is coming up in just a couple of weeks, June 7th, I think it would be helpful for RealTime readers to become better acquainted with this Feast of the Lord. The Hebrew Bible gives three names for this holiday; each is significant because each reminds us of a truth God wants us to understand. Pentecost is b...

NEW DISCOVERIES and More!

We have made it to Lake Conroe, TX!  This has been incredibly wonderful but so skeery as to the "job" involved.  We are working for a Corporate KOA Park. They are run a little differently but they are fun to work in.  We have many coming in on weekends and it seems to be a really fun busy park.  You can even fish with a catch and release here!         It's a beautiful place! We really enjoy meeting lots of people!  We attended church on Sunday, as the "boss" said we could!  It was a lot of fun!  Life is so interesting.  I could say that I need more time in my day and I used to.  But I don't anymore.  Cave dwelling has been our past days.  "Cave Dwelling is sitting within your own thoughts or hiding in bed with the covers over your head and you never want to face others."  I wouldn't say it is necessarily depression, it's just staying away and hoping that something will chang...

Dreams and visions

"I have a dream" from Martin Luther King Jr. is a speech that lives on and on and will forever.  This dream forever changed the nation we live in and continues to change it.  However, we need to be careful of whom we hear it from because many have used this speech and turned it into their own agenda and have contaminated what the original dream was and is.  What have you always dreamt of doing but never did it?  What invention or thing did you want so badly but no one believed in you enough for you to do it the way you wanted to?  Here are some big dreamers I know of, through story telling:  Bill Gates, Apple, Big ministries that are strong and following the dream when they first started out with.  What is it that you absolutely love doing that you can't imagine your life without it?  Yep, having kids counts.  When the kids began to grow, I loved homeschooling, I loved having my kids home!  It was the greatest joy of my life. ...

Have you ever wondered?

When I first started at my last church, Group Publishing started using the Holyland experience, I was so excited!  The first year we went to Galilee-by-the-sea and saw how Jesus called the disciples and tried fish and figs.  The next year we were off to Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, Steve and I were Rabbi's with such fun times!  We wore the Tallit but did not know the whole story about it.  So, since I needed to find out again, I wanted to share it with you. n Numbers 15:38-40 it says: Understanding the Tallit I n Numbers 15:38-40 it says: Understanding the Tallit 38 "Speak to the children of Israel: Tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue thread in the tassels of the corners. 39 And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the LORD and do them, and that you may not follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined, 40...
