Solid Rock on Which We Stand

  Jesus is our Solid Rock.   Psalm 18 I love You, O’Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom will I trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. David spoke these words and he had been running from Saul.   As we were driving up through the mountains and seeing trees grow on the top of rocky hills and knolls, I thought about how The Lord is our solid rock but also how we can be so hard hearted but God can still soften it.  Sometimes it takes a lot to crack through, but when it does, the reward is heaven bound.   We left Texas 27 May and headed to Colorado to go on the Royal Gorge train, the Cog railway, and to see what it was like.  It was snowing by the time we got back to the railway depot.  It was raining in the town below.   We spent a week there, then we headed...
