Incredible Jesus!

When you lift your prayers up, Jesus does answer them!  Thank you Lord!

Today is the day before a special day for my parents so many years ago!  We decided to road trip to Galveston and take a look around! 

We will post pics tomorrow.  But first I have to go buy new glasses!  They broke today!

Hello friends, I have written much about patience yet we are putting our patience into practice.   We left Livingston TX on March 21st.  We had been told that it would take 2 hours to do our new tires, it took about 6. We got into the shop for fixing stuff that needed it before leaving for a 10,000 mile + journey and then we would spend a week in an AirBnb so they could repair a mark from an unmovable tree.  🌲But it has really tested our patience as we are on the 8th day of this and they said it should be done in 5 days.   I was not happy last night after I called them and they called back and husband had talked to them.  Afterward, I was not who I should have been, I apologized to my husband.  Frustration is high, patience is still intact, but the ineptitude of the shop has gotten us where we don't belong, in the weeds.   Being in the weeds is hard to grow your faith up, but maybe it shouldn't be.  Maybe this is where we grow our ...

Have you ever thought about your faith? Can it be lost? Can it be found again if it's lost?

  When you first came to Jesus, your heart knew that it was missing something, there was maybe a hole in your heart, and you knew you JUST NEEDED to fill it.  Jesus was the answer you needed.   You were so on fire for Jesus!  YOU told everyone that would listen and even to some who wouldn't listen, but you still were so on fire!   Are you still?   How has your faith grown? How has it waned?  Sometimes we are in a huge group setting when this happens and we don't know where to start to feed what God has for us, that fire that consumes are thoughts.  We are falling in love with Jesus.  This fires needs stoked, it needs oxygen to survive, but how?     Sometimes it takes an amazing pastor who can teach and not preach, one that grows you and not stops you.  One that finds joy in doing so.  Sometimes it takes a music group whose worship songs or praise songs hits you right there, and you are put on your knees...

Solid Rock on Which We Stand

  Jesus is our Solid Rock.   Psalm 18 I love You, O’Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom will I trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. David spoke these words and he had been running from Saul.   As we were driving up through the mountains and seeing trees grow on the top of rocky hills and knolls, I thought about how The Lord is our solid rock but also how we can be so hard hearted but God can still soften it.  Sometimes it takes a lot to crack through, but when it does, the reward is heaven bound.   We left Texas 27 May and headed to Colorado to go on the Royal Gorge train, the Cog railway, and to see what it was like.  It was snowing by the time we got back to the railway depot.  It was raining in the town below.  We also drove through Garden of Rocks (gods...
