Sitting on the dock of the bay...

Okay, not really but sort of!  Watching the dog frolicking in the water and playing in the sand!  Giggling and then playing his favorite sport, soccer, and yes, I am still talking about the dog!  We have only traveled with Mary but not Peter.

We have had a blast on our trip!  The power of the ocean always reminds me of the power God has.  His power is greater and more powerful than anything you can ever imagine.  His great love is power enough!

Job has a lot to say about God!  Read here: Job 37:1-13 (message bible)
“Whenever this happens, my heart stops— I’m stunned, I can’t catch my breath. Listen to it! Listen to his thunder, the rolling, rumbling thunder of his voice. He lets loose his lightning's from horizon to horizon, lighting up the earth from pole to pole. In their wake, the thunder echoes his voice, powerful and majestic. He lets out all the stops, he holds nothing back. No one can mistake that voice— His word thundering so wondrously, his mighty acts staggering our understanding. He orders the snow, ‘Blanket the earth!’ and the rain, ‘Soak the whole countryside!’ No one can escape the weather—it’s there. And no one can escape from God. Wild animals take shelter, crawling into their dens, When blizzards roar out of the north and freezing rain crusts the land. It’s God’s breath that forms the ice, it’s God’s breath that turns lakes and rivers solid. And yes, it’s God who fills clouds with rainwater and hurls lightning from them every which way. He puts them through their paces—first this way, then that— commands them to do what he says all over the world. Whether for discipline or grace or extravagant love, he makes sure they make their mark.

A break from work, but sorely missing my kiddos.  DH is off for a week, works 3 weeks on and one week off.  I work with 10 children, 8 of which come from other parts of the world.  Incredible how God sees ministry.  For us, we have done campground ministry, meeting and greeting others from our country and really other countries who come to see America or others who are heading out on a mission trips.

My God shall supply!

Psalm 71:17-24
You got me when I was an unformed youth, God, and taught me everything I know. Now I’m telling the world your wonders; I’ll keep at it until I’m old and gray. God, don’t walk off and leave me until I get out the news Of your strong right arm to this world, news of your power to the world yet to come, Your famous and righteous ways, O God. God, you’ve done it all! Who is quite like you? You, who made me stare trouble in the face, Turn me around; Now let me look life in the face. I’ve been to the bottom; Bring me up, streaming with honors; turn to me, be tender to me, And I’ll take up the lute and thank you to the tune of your faithfulness, God. I’ll make music for you on a harp, Holy One of Israel. When I open up in song to you, I let out lungsful of praise, my rescued life a song. All day long I’m chanting about you and your righteous ways, While those who tried to do me in slink off looking ashamed.

This person is one of my favorite people in the entire world!  This is my gramma, she loved everyone, she believed in everyone!  She knew the importance of family.  Even when her son's divorced their wives, she kept their wives as her daughters.  She believed in them, she loved them and she kept her grandchildren loved.

She was a kick!  Tough, western, Montana woman with roots deep and wide.  She loved, she lived and she gave.

My other favorite!
I am so proud of my daughter.  She is incredible, smart, loving, giving and sassy!
