Are you clearly heaven bound... or are you...?

Why do I ask this?  Because Hell is real and so is Heaven!  The devil rules hell along with all the demons that he sends forth to prick and poke at your life.  Jesus is the only way to heaven, the WAY, the Truth and the Life, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER unless through me.

But by today's thinking everyone goes to heaven.  Umm.... no they don't.  Narrow is the way for wide is the gate.  Narrow is the way is so much more than what you think, it's about obedience to God.  It's not always easy because temptations come and they try their hardest to take you places you would never go on your own or your own choosing.  That gate is wide and wide open, but you have the choice to close it. 

To whom am I speaking to here?  Well, it seems that on FB things get posted and never sure what the true heart for God is.  I hear AMEN on things but when it really matters to the real life stuff of what is happening in our world, the answer is we need God's help and we need to pray as if we have never prayed before.  We need to pray for the souls of those affected in every way that they would not hate God but see that HATE itself and the darkness of sin has caused much of it. 

I am going to use a lot of scripture here, so hang on and get yourself ready.

The Narrow Way

¹³ “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. ¹⁴ Because^[a] narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

You Will Know Them by Their Fruits

¹⁵ “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. ¹⁶ You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? ¹⁷ Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. ¹⁸ A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. ¹⁹ Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. ²⁰ Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

I Never Knew You

²¹ “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. ²² Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ ²³ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Lawlessness= sin, lack of obedience, not knowing Jesus at all.  Never opening a Bible and reading it.  Full understanding of who God is.

Do you know how much Jesus loves you!  You, the one reading this right now!  He loves you!  He wants to know you in a personal way.  He wants you to know him in a way that only those that read about him in HIS WORD know him. 
If you don't have a Bible, you can find an app for that, you can go to Amazon and find free Bibles (NKJV or KJV) both are straight and narrow.  Get in it and find out who he is.  Then prepare yourself and ask him to live in you.  It's not hard, really.  It's relatively pain free and as easy as ABC.  Admit that you are a sinner in need of a savior, Believing that Jesus died for you on the cross at Calvary. Confess the sins in your life and turn away from them.  Breathe in forgiveness and let go of all the hurts and pains that others have caused and know that Jesus has forgiven you and you can forgive others.  That's it, relatively painless for now.  If you really want and mean this to stick, repent, wholly and wholeheartedly, turn from the things that have taken your time from the Lord. 

If you really meant that, but you don't want to step into a church right now, find TBN and David Jerimiah, Charles Stanley are two awesome Bible teaching Pastors to start with.  They dig into the Bible and you can follow them, soak in what is taught and let God fill you up. 

In this journey of a new life in Christ, you will not always see the easy street times, because they hated and still hate Jesus.  The devil will constantly remind you of your past but God will always who you who you are in Him.   I know this sounds harsh, but when God abides in you and you in him, it's not hard.  But you are required to stand and stand with him.  That means to love others but you should not enjoy or like the worldly ways because if they don't line up with the word, then we are not in obedience and it doesn't fit in with the ways of the Lord.

The True Vine

15 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. ² Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;^[a] and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. ³ You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. ⁴ Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.⁵ “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. ⁶ If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. ⁷ If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will^[b] ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. ⁸ 

Love and Joy Perfected

⁹ “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. ¹⁰ If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
¹¹ “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. ¹² This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. ¹³ Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. ¹⁴ You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. ¹⁵ No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. ¹⁶ You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. ¹⁷ These things I command you, that you love one another.

The World’s Hatred

¹⁸ “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. ¹⁹ If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. ²⁰ Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. ²¹ But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. ²² If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. ²³ He who hates Me hates My Father also. ²⁴ If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. ²⁵ But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’^[c]

The Coming Rejection

²⁶ “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. ²⁷ And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning. 

I have walked with Jesus for over 30 years, it has not always been easy but it has been fulfilling.  He loves me and I am so excited about Him and love to tell his story.
I do have to surrender daily.  His will and not my own.
