Goodness

"When it gets down to goodness and what He's done for me, when it gets down to goodness and how He set me free, I will dance, dance, dance all night, all night!"

This is a song that we would sing every Sunday night at Calvary now Victory Church in Great Falls.  It was and still is one that I sing.

His goodness, some may know it and feel it and some may be going through something so bad you can't imagine God's goodness.  Even if you are in the dark, His goodness is there.  His love is there, his hope for you is there.  When it's going really well, sometimes we believe it's because of us and when we become thinkers like this, we blow ourselves up and forget to see God's glory in it.

Look around you right now, what do you see?  Children?  Blessings anywhere?  Having a great time or a hard time?

Let's pray before we continue on this journey today.
Kenneth Copeland Ministries:
Lord Jesus, we come to you and ask that you are first place in our lives.  If you are not show us how to make you first place.  If you already are, thank you for what you are doing.  Lord, as we read this blog today, let it soak into the marrow of my bones, the spirit in my soul, let my heart see your glory and my eyes see your grace. Lord, let us see your power here today Lord, let us see your goodness and your grace, let us see what you need us to see today Lord.  I love you Lord Jesus.  Amen.

Did you see the sunrise this morning?  Do you have sunshine now or cloudy skies?  How's your heart and soul right now at this moment?

Psalm 33:4-5 AMP For the word of the Lord is right; And all His work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the loving kindness of the Lord.

Romans 8:28
And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

I Declare breakthroughs are coming in my life, sudden bursts of God's goodness. Not a trickle. Not a stream. But a flood of God's power. A flood of healing. A flood of wisdom. A flood of favor. I am a breakthrough person and I chose to live breakthrough minded. I am expecting God to overwhelm me with His goodness and amaze me with His favor. This is my declaration!:
“Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.

God never desires us to be dragged down into a pit, he wants us to be the absolute best we can be.  He never called us to be something we are not really.

When we make choices that don't line up, the consequences from those choices are painful, if not now, they will be.

Check out these 10 encouraging Bible Verses reminding Us of God’s Faithfulness -: Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are you who hunger now [for righteousness, actively seeking right standing with God], for you will be [completely] satisfied. Blessed [forgiven, refreshed by God’s grace] are you who weep now [over your sins and repent], for you will laugh [when the burden of sin is lifted].

All through scripture, he talks about HIS GOODNESS.  I don't know about you, but I hunger and seek HIS WORD, HIS TRUTH, HIS WAYS.
How hard is it for you to trust that He wants the best for you?  Is it easy or hard?

It's pretty easy for me, I try everyday to make the right choices and the right way to live the way I do.  Since we live in a campground, in the middle of wherever he takes us, right on the edge of knowing what our call this time in our life is.  We do struggle at times to know what we are suppose to do and where we are suppose to go.  But one thing is for sure, is wherever we are He is right there with us.
We have been so blessed to work in different places, meeting different people, sometimes attending a church for what we hope will be fellowship, but we are both deep people and have a hard time with the small talk that occurs in life.  We like discussions and life situations, we love helping others.  But we are both introverts and one of us likes to sit on the outside and watch and the other will go in a little bit more.  Neither of us are comfortable with big groups but will participate.  One of us would rather stick around some but the other is not so willing, so we compromise.  We are working on trying to do more.  We are just so comfortable with each other and being home than being out.  But it's something we will work on more this summer as our next job takes us into the heart of others more.

In all this journey, have you ever ran away from the Lord?  Have you ever felt like you hid so He wouldn't see or find you?  Have you always been a straight shooter with HIM?  My hope is if you have ran from him, you run back to him.  He loves us and you so very much.  He has missed you and welcomes you home.  If you have been a straight shooter and have always walked with Him, He loves you for your faithfulness, your courage to stand before man and proclaim He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.  Life gets tough, but the tough keep going.
Please know that Jesus loves you wherever you are right now in your life, in every single second of every minute, of every hour and of every day in your life.  He desires His best for you.

Do You See Your Calling?

Do You See Your Calling?
Paul did not say that he separated himself, but “when it pleased God, who separated me…” (Galatians 1:15). Paul was not overly interested in his own character. And as long as our eyes are focused on our own personal holiness, we will never even get close to the full reality of redemption. Christian workers fail because they place their desire for their own holiness above their desire to know God. “Don’t ask me to be confronted with the strong reality of redemption on behalf of the filth of human life surrounding me today; what I want is anything God can do for me to make me more desirable in my own eyes.” To talk that way is a sign that the reality of the gospel of God has not begun to touch me. There is no reckless abandon to God in that. God cannot deliver me while my interest is merely in my own character. Paul was not conscious of himself. He was recklessly abandoned, totally surrendered, and separated by God for one purpose— to proclaim the gospel of God (see Romans 9:3).
