Loved
WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

All of them with incredible story lines that tell about life and the struggles we all face. Flywheel is about a used car salesman who is crooked and is in for a life change. Facing the Giants is about a coach who no one really wants coaching because the team is losing. He gives his life and team to the Lord and it all begins to turn around. Fireproof is about a husband that is addicted to Porn and not really his wife. He almost gives up on his marriage and so does she, but something happens. His dad gives him a 30 day life changing book that begins very slowly to change the situations, it's called the LOVE Dare Book. Courageous is about fatherhood and how to be a better father. War Room, by far my favorite. It's about prayer.
Do you know how important talking to the LORD is? It is So very important. I have been able to watch the Lord work incredible things in our life over the years through prayer. When we pray we are able to witness first hand His glory.
John 14:13 Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Find a verse that speaks to you and pray it over and over.
What verse speaks to you? What verse can YOU stand on as a life verse or a verse that you NEED right now?
He desires communication with us. He also desires us to get to know him through his Word. How do we make time for that when our day is so busy? Load the Bible app on your phone, tablet, computer. When you take a break, waiting at the Dr. office, waiting period, use that time and pray or get into the Word.
Your next step is to memorize the Word. If you say I can't right now, you have given up before you even started. It's not easy for me either, but I write down what speaks to me, sometimes it is posted on FB when a friends or page posts it and I claim it.
Like this one for me is: Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.
I will use this as I am praying, Lord, in Psalm 37:5 your word says when my way unto you and I trust you; you will bring this _______________ to pass. Lord, your Word also says in Hebrews 4:12 says For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than a two edged showed, piercing to the divisions of soul and of spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Lord, I need you, I need your word in this part of my life (name the part)_________________. Lord I seek you, I love you, I love your Word.
Sometimes, we are afraid of rejection, maybe we have been rejected from someone in our past and can not believe Jesus loves us. Or maybe we haven't been taught about Him. If you have been rejected in your past, pray that off. Don't walk in it now. You have been redeemed by the hands of the Lord. If you don't know Jesus, ask Him to come into your heart and live in you.
Sometimes we say we are Christians but our fruit will say otherwise. But beloved, sin is still sin, big or small. There are passages that tell us what not to do and when we do them we sin against God.
The world will tell you it's okay, but does it line up with the Word of God? Does your choice to do what you do line up without equivocation (to use unclear language especially to deceive or mislead someone)? Sometimes the world will make it sound all good, but if it doesn't line up with the Word of God, then what is it?
Sometimes those deceptions come from the church as well. Picking and choosing what God's Word says. It's all or none. It's not one or the other, it's the WHOLE of the WORD OF GOD.
Psalm 51:10 says Create in me a clean heart O Lord and renew a right spirit within me.
Mark 12:30 says Love the Lord your God with ALL your Heart, All your MIND and ALL your soul.
2nd Timothy 3:16-17 says 16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; 17 so that the [a]man of God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Jeremiah 23:29 says Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock into pieces?
In the Amplified it says it this way...
29 Is not My word like fire [that consumes all that cannot endure the test]?” says the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks the [most stubborn] rock [in pieces]?
All through the Word of God he tells us how to live a life worthy of our calling. Our calling is that He called us into his fold to do great things for Him.

I know some denominations don't do this, they believe baby baptism saves, it saves the parents from many things but it really doesn't save your child. Jesus says in Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
How can a child believe really until he/she is about 2 to 4 years old or older?
Dedication is what parents do. Dedicating your child to the Lord promising that YOU will TEACH your child about Jesus. When it's time for your child to accept his own relationship with Jesus, walk them to Him. You have that incredible gift given to you.
I am not dancing on church debates, but I truly believe a child needs to be accountable for accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior and then allow them to be baptized in the name of Jesus. Even if it is twice and you have a difficult time with it. I know I did, but it was what my daughter did. She was baptized at age 5 and at 15. Both were her choices, but at 15 she was now in charge of her own walk with the Lord. My job was complete and she was now to do it by her own choices.
Acts 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people that they should believe on him who should come after him, that is, on Christ, Jesus.
As a children's pastor, it's important as your child begins to really learn about Jesus; when they have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior on their own, it opens their heart and mind to really receive Him and His Words. It becomes personal to them, it becomes an unwavering word for them.
There are some deadly sins and consequences to those sins. Can you think of any? Not just the Ten Commandments, but there are more in the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

Don't get me wrong, we all sin and fall short of the glory of God.
Each one of us, but when we ask for forgiveness and change our ways- make that U-Turn and walk with Him, he makes all things new.
What can you do to start a new prayer life?
A better relationship with your loved ones?
What can you do to turn and repent of whatever has had a hold of you? Once you turn it's washed in the Blood of the Lamb.

Why? Because whatever you put in yourself comes out. And I want good things to come out. I want my walk to be evident, I want my words to be good and I want my attitude to be worthy of Him who saved me. For over 30 years I have been walking with the Lord. I used to read trashy novels, not dirty ones, but love stories and the like and I used to listen to Meatloaf, Eric Clapton, Doobie Brothers, Heart, etc, but I stopped. It was hard and I had to learn how, sometimes it wasn't easy, sometimes it was.
But through getting in the Word of God, my hunger became the Word and not the World. I have always been a prayer but getting into the Word was really tough, but I began in the New Testament and began to see who Jesus was. I finally got into a church that taught the Word, then I began to seek Him greater. I began to follow the authors of the books I like reading, I also found a place to belong in myself. I read a lot now. This is the girl that did not do well in school, failed actually- no kidding, to one that got through school and graduated Magna Cum Laude. It's because of my relationship with Jesus that got me through and of course my husband whom walked beside me.

It says that is 1 Peter 2:9 (ASV) But ye are a elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
AMP says it this way...But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
