Amor part 5

1 Peter 1:3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation,: Well, the classes for school are done or are they? However, God is not done with us yet and until he is, we will continue on.

Why are we suppose to continue to wear our armor?  Why does it matter?

It matters because you matter to God.  Your life, your walk, your salvation, your peace, your mind, your heart,  body and soul are all so very important to Him.  But because the devil knows this, and is readily on the attack, we must keep our Armor on at all times.

Pastor Tony Evans writes in his book "Prayers for Victory in Spiritual Warfare" in the Intro: "If you are a Christian, you're in a battle whether you realize it or not.  The battle is for your mind, your spirit and ultimately your life.  The Apostle Paul warned us about this ongoing conflict in several of his epistles but perhaps most importantly in his letter to the believers in Ephesus, where he also spells out our strategy for winning the battle."

That strategy has to do with the verses we have been learning and digging into, because ultimately what you do with your armor depends on how you will battle the enemy and win or lose.

So, in the next few posts, we will dig deeper, wider, and hopefully help you to be stronger in your walk and you can carry your armor without feeling extremely tired.

We can not be lazy, lethargic, not interested in our lives with the Lord.  So many sit in the pews on Sunday and walk out to their death in their faith.

I am not pointing at any one church, but I am talking to you.  I am talking to you because I want you to know God's heart.  It isn't about the church, it's about you.

Are you that person that goes on Sunday because you have to?  Do you go because you want to get fed?  Do you go because it pleases the Lord?  Do you go because you believe that it is salvation?

Can I tell you what pleases the Lord the most?  You!  Your walk with him!  Your digging in and trusting Him will all your heart, mind, soul, and all your strength.

Your salvation is when you have walked the "Roman Road", the plan of salvation unto Him.  Some denominations don't do this, but I believe it is the best way to know that you know, that the Lord knows you believe and belong.

WE ARE ALL SINNERS

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”
Romans 3:23

…………………………………………………………..

THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”
Romans 6:23

…………………………………………………………..

CHRIST DIED IN OUR PLACE

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”
Romans 5:8

…………………………………………………………..

IF YOU REALLY BELIEVE IN HIM YOU WILL BE SAVED

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”
Romans 10:9

…………………………………………………………..

IF YOU BELIEVE IN HIM WILL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life”
John 5:24

…………………………………………………………..

RIGHT NOW YOU CAN BE SAVED:

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name”

John 1:12

…………………………………………………………..

SO YOU CAN PRAY:

Father, I accept that I am a sinner. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose again that I am justified in front of you.
Thanks for giving me eternal life. In Jesus name, Amen.

You don't NEED to go to church for your salvation.  Going to church is to be with other believers and fellowship.  That's all.  But sometimes the church is filled with those who are unbelievers.  Then what?

We are to be active in our Christianity, in every single thing we do.  That devil will come and steal everything he can from you.  He will steal your joy, passion, your focus, your purity (in mind, body and life), your relationships, your confidence, your family, your rest and contentment and identity.  We will break these down a bit more using a great teacher's help.

~Power of Prayer~: I know I have some relationship issues with some people that are very important to me and honestly I don't know what to do.  I pray, I try to reach out.  It's not a struggle that I desire to have, but it's there.  I love them more than they will ever know.  My hearts desire is to have a relationship that can withstand the toughest of times and still walk with respect of one another.

We are going to go digging in the Word, because we have to have the foothold and handhold on all that is happening all around us.

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant,.... The apostle had exhorted to each of these before; see 1 Peter 1:13 but thought fit to repeat them; sobriety and watchfulness being exceeding necessary and useful in the Christian life; and the one cannot well be without the other: unless a man is sober in body and mind, he will not be watchful, either over himself or others, or against the snares of sin, Satan, and the world; and if he is not on his watch and guard, he is liable to every sin and temptation. The Syriac version renders the words, "watch", and "be ye mindful", or "remember"; watch with diligence, care, and industry, keeping a good lookout, minding and observing everything that presents, and remembering the power and cunning of the enemy; and the Ethiopic version renders them thus, "be ye prudent, and cause your heart to understand"; referring them not to temperance of body, but sobriety of mind, and to a prudent conduct and behaviour, as having a subtle as well as a malicious enemy to deal with:

I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever. Psalm 44:6-8: because your adversary the devil; he who is a defamer and calumniator; who accuses God to men, and men to God, and is therefore styled the accuser of the brethren; he is the saints' avowed and implacable enemy. Satan is an enemy to mankind in general, but more especially to the seed of the woman, to Christ personal, and to Christ mystical, to all the elect of God: the word here used is a forensic term, and signifies a court adversary, or one that litigates a point in law, or opposes another in an action or suit at law. The Jews (c) have adopted this word into their language, and explain it by , "a law adversary", or one that has a suit of law depending against another. Satan accuses men of the breach of the law, and pleads that justice might take place, and punishment be inflicted, and which he pursues with great violence and diligence:

as a roaring lion; so called, both on account of his strength, and also because of his rage, malice, and cruelty, which he breathes out against the saints, who, though he cannot destroy them, will do all he can to terrify and affright them; so the young lions in Psalm 104:21 are, by the Cabalistic Jews (d), understood of devils; to which, for the above reasons, they may be truly compared:

walketh about; to and fro in the earth; see Job 1:7 as a lion runs about here and there, when almost famished with hunger; and it also denotes the insidious methods, wiles, and stratagems Satan takes to surprise men, and get an advantage of them: he takes a tour, and comes round upon them, upon the back of them, at an unawares, so that they have need to be always sober, and upon their guard:

seeking whom he may devour; this is the end of his walking about: and the like is expressed in the Targum on Job 1:7

"and Satan answered before the Lord, and said, from going about in the earth , "to search into the works" of the children of men, and from walking in it;''

that so he might have something to accuse them of, and they fall a prey into his hands. This is the work he is continually employed in; he is always seeking to do mischief, either to the souls, or bodies, or estates of men, especially the former; though he can do nothing in either respect without a permission, not unless he "may"; and though this, with respect to body and estate, is sometimes granted, as in the case of Job, yet never with respect to the souls of any of God's elect, which are safe in Christ's hands, and out of his reach; this hinders not but that saints should be sober and watchful.

#ArmorOfGodStudy:
Now, what we read before we read what's in blue, we see that there are things that the devil tries so hard to take from us.  Now, go back and read the blue and as your reading it, remind yourself that which the devil took it is God's and not his.

Now, I want you to write down what the devil stole- everything!  Not to give glory to the devil but to take back what he stole and give the glory to the Lord so you have a ten-fold return on your loss.

How's that feel?

Now, let's look at what the enemy has done to hoodwink you into losing all that was.  But it will be restored.
What kind of bait did he use?
 Was it hard or easy?
Did it take a long time for him to catch you or was it so quick that you didn't even realize it?

Did you know that because he is so sneaky, he also calibrates the exact bait to catch you?  Oh yea, he does.

Could that bait be things we are not to be involved with?  Sorcery, witchcraft, the agendas and not standing for what the Lord believes for us to be, porn, gossip, legalization of marijuana, drugs, alcohol, food, any addiction.  These things that defile the Temple that God has placed in you.

I am not here to judge, as that is not my desire or my place.  My position is to help you to be the person God created you to be.

As I am writing this, I have to stop and listen to the Lord and read and write, over and over.  He is doing something in my heart now.  Restore to me, Lord, those things which the devil stole through ways in which I didn't even see coming.  Lord, relationships, and more, Restore please.  By the Blood of Jesus, Amen.

As I write this the Holy Spirit has settled in for a bit and is all over me.  I hope you feel it as well.

The devil is not impossible to defeat.  We just have to be ready for anything he may trap us with or throw at us to bait us.  We have got to be in the WORD of God, prayed up and ready for battle!  We have to be on guard at all times, in every situation, in our world, in our lives, in our schools, in our jobs, in our churches too, even on our computer.   The things you read or watch will greatly impact what foothold the devil has.  We are to be the Lord's Temple. Look here:

Ephesians 2:20-22Amplified Bible (AMP)
20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the [chief] Cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure is joined together, and it continues [to increase] growing into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, set apart, and sacred to the presence of the Lord]. 22 In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Whew!  As we continue to dig further and further, the devil will try to stop you from growing, from knowing, from anything that will cause him to loose his foothold.  He will cause something in your life to not be able to learn, grow, or come into His Presence (The Lord's)

As I am writing this, the Holy Spirit is upon me to bring the good news.  He wants you to know this.

"Tell them I love them.  I want everything they have.  Everything they are, every ounce of being walking with me.  Walk worthy of the calling I have given you.  If you don't know your calling, just ask me and I will show you."  He goes on to say, "I want to live in you, right now, you don't know me because others have said you don't need to.  I say, they are liars and you need to ask me to enter in, tell me I am welcome in this place, this is what I want you to say...Holy Spirit, come live in me, be my words, be my heart, be my life.  Set the table in front of my enemies and we shall dine and we will conquer together what the enemy has stolen." "Be prepared because your life will never, ever, ever, ever be the same.  You will see your gifts and see yourself as I see you, beautiful in His Sight, Beautiful in the sight of others.  Give me all of you, all, every last drop, hold nothing back, lay it all out and give me more of you".  Love, Holy Spirit

Stay strong in the Lord.  Gird up your armor and rise up friend, it's time for battle!  It's time to take back what the enemy stole!

stay tuned...  we have just begun!

Philippians 1:9 I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. 10 For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. 11 May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.:
