We are back

It's been a while right?   A lot has happened since the last time.   We sold Roonie about 2 years ago.  She was a great rig.  She took us to places we never dreamt of going.  We were in Vidalia LA, Beaver UT, Omaha NE, and Montana a few times. We put about 40,000 miles on her.  We crisscrossed America.  Highways and Bi-ways, National Parks, and a few state parks.  We worked at different KOA's for 7 seasons.   Roonie went to a new home and we got Gracie Royale.  Gracie had low miles on it and she has not run the US as much yet, but she is gearing up to.   Mary passed over the Rainbow Bridge the day after Thanksgiving.  We always told her when she was ready, let us know.  She did.  She was an amazing girl. Mary was prescribed by a doctor in FL. Her story is truly one of a fighter who wanted to live.    Life goes on right?   With the Sudden death of my son, at the age of 39 a...

Can it be, really?  Over a year since I posted.  Wow!  Does not seem like the time flew.  It seemed like we were just in Alabama not long ago.  So, here is our update and hopefully it will be more often. We have been in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Montana so far this year. This is right next to Great Falls KOA, MT They were running from way out there to come see us.  Beautiful! They followed us from one end to the fence to the other.  Add caption One of my favorite pics.  We share the front seat.  We had traveled a long time, about 6 hours, everyone except Cleo was tired. Home Sweet Home.  The trailer is now gone, we have a tow dolly. Neligh NE, Trail of Tears went through here too.  This is my classroom.  3.5 yrs teaching on the road.  The kids love the views from the window.  5369 classes.  I write down every les...

Update:::::4/30/2019 -530 pm!! Now four shocks have to be replaced!!!!!! Uhhhhhggggghhhhh--ouch!  The workers came over at about 2:20 and said we can work on the motorhome now! So it took Steven I about 15 minutes to tear down I had to hurry up and get the dishes done cuz I usually do them at night, and we're here! We may be able to take off in the morning! So I have two classes in the morning, 6:30, and 7. So we're going to get the road in the morning and we have four days to do with whatever we want.- hahaha! Just kidding right? NO! They have to order the shocks, sit tight. I CAN'T just sit tight! We have been in Nacogdoches TX for over a week. We came to replace our water heater and get a buzzer taken off. But they did a 24 point free inspection and found out we needed the suspension airbags and when they put them on, they found out we needed shocks when they put the airbags in. This is going to cost us about $6,000!  Being full time RVers is not always easy, not alw...

9 years! VIPKID and the RV LIFE

Image
This is an update!  9 years ago this month, we began to say goodbye to St. Paul's. It was a call on our lives to go save the one. That one was a man I did not know well. He was my father. [For some of you, this may be a shock, I only knew him from his visits about 6 of them]. This command to find him came in August the year before. I was praying as I was heading into work at the church on a Sunday. The Lord said "I am calling you out to go find the one that is lost. Then I want you to teach these families to STAND on my word, KNOW MY WORD and teach them to know me". What a year that began! As I write this, the emotions from that year, sit close to the surface. What a powerful year! God called a few people to teach that others may not have. God assured me that HE WAS WORKING IN THEM. There was an urgency in HIS MESSAGE. Happy Anniversary Month for allowing us to follow the CALL. We live full time on the Road.  It's something we have been called to do y...
