Hello friends,

I have written much about patience yet we are putting our patience into practice.  

We left Livingston TX on March 21st.  We had been told that it would take 2 hours to do our new tires, it took about 6.

We got into the shop for fixing stuff that needed it before leaving for a 10,000 mile + journey and then we would spend a week in an AirBnb so they could repair a mark from an unmovable tree.  🌲But it has really tested our patience as we are on the 8th day of this and they said it should be done in 5 days.  

I was not happy last night after I called them and they called back and husband had talked to them.  Afterward, I was not who I should have been, I apologized to my husband.  Frustration is high, patience is still intact, but the ineptitude of the shop has gotten us where we don't belong, in the weeds.  

Being in the weeds is hard to grow your faith up, but maybe it shouldn't be.  Maybe this is where we grow our faith.  Maybe this is how we grow our faith.  Trust in HIM and HE will make our path straight.  We know Proverbs 16:9 Man plans his ways, BUT the LORD directs his steps and makes them sure.  

Our testimony and walk are on the line if we show up in a frustrated or angry mood.  But we can inquire and share our hope of finishing the project. 

I went searching for scripture as I always to writing this blog and so much of it came up.  I mean, wow! 

Our walk is important- save face if you will, but keeping it to ourselves, our inside family, it allows us to stay safe, grow, learn.  But if we walk outside with that anger blazing or seething, it shows and it harms others and we can't take it back- we can apologize for it. That inhibits every aspect of our lives. 

We miss our kids too, our adult kids, we miss our grandkids and miss knowing ones we have yet met.  We made a lot of mistakes along the way, let go a lot, and pray a lot!  One day, maybe.  We just keep praying for a mighty miracle. 

Isaiah 46:9-10
