Woke up to no water this a.m. Oh Man!

Image
It's incredible!  It only got to 34 last night and we didn't think we needed to drip water- WRONG!  We should have! We didn't run the furnace either because we have tons of blankets on the bed and we have two electric heaters. So, we didn't do what we always do, run both water and furnace.  It really messed up my morning routine!  Oh well, live and learn! We spent Sat. with the kids, like the post the other day, we went to Wales West.  We met the owner and met the people we would have worked for, ugh!  We did not introduce ourselves, we felt that was too over the top; since we had turned down a job there last summer.  But it was a great day!  It was so much fun to watch the grandkids be so excited about the trains.  So here's some pics... Steam and Coal Engine at Wales West.  It runs around the owner's property.  That's the owner standing in the doorway. Steve (popa), Joel, and Jimmy (Joel'...

Oh the weather outside is frightful but the season is so delightful...

I could say let it snow, let it snow, let it snow... however, those of you up north are getting blasted and it must be really cold!  Here in Florida, it isn't all sunny and warm, we have had some terrible weather as well.  But today it is raining.  It was 60% but it is more like 100% at least for the past few hours.  We are heading to Wales West on Sunday hopefully.  Here is the link http://www.waleswest.com/ This is where we almost took a position for this winter but it just was too much for us.  So, we will go and enjoy it with our grandkids and enjoy the Christ-mas season.  Our hope is your Christ-mas time is Merry and Blessed and wonderfully warm.  It's not about the toys, the stuff, but it is about the time that you spend with your family.  Time can't be bought, it can only be given.

It's warmer in Florida today!

Not by much, but it is suppose to reach 75 today, with a chance of rain.  Our lows have been unreal for here; even Miami got really cold.  They said the veggie and fruit prices would go up with this last freeze and it's only December!  Wowzers!  We have been dripping our water to keep the lines from freezing and running the furnace a little to keep the underbelly warm.  But there's nothing like a nice warm quilt to cover up with and watch a wonderful movie!  Today is a work day for us.  We work 2 days a week for our site = 10 hours.  So, sitting in Semi-Retirement is not really that much fun at least for me.  I think Steve kinda likes it but that will change when we go to Michigan.  We will work 40 hours each and our site will cost 8 hours each.  I may not put our work pics up from here, they aren't that interesting - we clean commodes, sinks and showers- all important to those using them but not great shots for pics! ...

Take a look at our history from our last blog

I found us!

We were lost but now we are found!  I wasn't sure what I did with this blog.  We blog on another site, but this one seemed to be a bit more friendlier.  We are in the Panhandle of Florida and many miracles in our own life have happened here.  God is in control and we are blessed so much.  So, since I have found us again.  I will post more often on here.   Gulf Coast Sand- beautiful, white, oil free and wonderful!  Stick your feet in the warm sand and enjoy the view! And then go in and enjoy the waves! From the Pier at Narvarre Beach FL.  One of the most favorite places we have visited.  But we have met some wonderful people too.   This is our church family.  They loved us before we even arrived in town! Until next time!

Welcome to Camp Saints No Walls Ministry

We are the Sanne's!  We are on the road, working and listening, we rejoice in so many stories.  We have been on the road for 5 months and have enjoyed it!  Our hope eventually is to start Bible Studies at the campgrounds we are working in.  We hope as you find us here, our writings and muses are a welcome living spring water that refreshes your very soul through Jesus Christ.  It is because of the joy of the Lord that we are on the road.  We sold or gave away everything we had to go on the road.  We sold two cars, furniture, gave away clothes, stuff, and sent to the kids what was theirs.  So, we are currently in OKC and heading south for the winter.  Thank you for stopping by.
