Just gotta share it!

The last blog I wrote about the Revival. It is Mobile AL and it is the 2nd revival breakout with Pastor John Kilpatrick.  Here is a link to his church.  It may or may not be your cup of tea, but it is good.  Just let the spirit of God flow through you. http://www.churchofhispresence.org/media_video_sub.php?id=20 Here is from the revival on January 22 - it is over 3 hours long!  But if you desire to watch it, you will truly be so blessed! http://bayoftheholyspiritrevival.com/media_archive_sub.php?id=56 I am still so blown away by the presence of the Lord.  I have to say something that has really been on my heart.  If you don't know me, this may seem really strange to you, but if you do know me, than you know my heart. When I became a Christ follower, I was nuts and so on fire for a real relationship with Jesus.  I told any and everyone that I came into contact with.  Then over time, I let go of junk that consumed my life- being angry, holding grudges, etc and let it al

Not preaching today, but ....

Hi there, It is a beautiful day here in Florida!  The sun shining, the wind is just a whisper and the day will be fabulous! We are waiting on a few more reference letters so we can send in the ordination papers and start a new venture.  We went to the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival on Thursday night.  Oh is was so powerful!  The anointing of the Holy Spirit was like a warm blanket over the entire sanctuary.  It was incredible, but then the move of God is incredible!  We were not real sure what to expect, we have both been in churches that have had the anointing poured out and it's been a long time since then.  But when the Holy Spirit pours anointing oil on your head and it flows down to your toes, you are still and know that HE is God!  Your mind stops thinking and God speaks to you.   God has a great plan for each of us.  He has given each of us gifts and talents, but it is our job to "Be Still and Know that He is God".

Chaos in the world!

This is an incredible time!  So many countries are protesting, some of them have no jobs, some have nothing for the young people in their country to continue their education for some countries has been taken away from what they knew.  Countries and cities are bankrupt, the jobs are not really there, this is the time to get right with Jesus.  Their lives seem hopeless and they are fighting for whatever!  The things that are happening in America also are changing.  The times are short, Steve has been studying prophecy for that last few years, it has been something that God has led him to do.  So, enjoy the read, think about it and look at the world around you.  From the lips of Steve! The last days, There are many up and coming signs- the key to which is Israel.  Iran's nuclear armament and its alignment with Russia, China and other mid eastern countries vowing to wipe Israel off the map.  God has promised to never let that happen.  Israel holds the Jews- God's Chosen peo

So, here we are again, enjoying the quietness. Last night, I lay in bed wondering what I should write and why is my heart so on fire for God?  I am not even sure where to start.  I have truly been on this journey since my 3rd pregnancy.  But I have always loved and knew of God, and put my name in the Lamb's book of Life when I was about 10 yo.  I think I signed that book every week because I didn't understand that I only needed really to do it once. But no one ever explained what it meant either.  But the truth is, even when we give our life over to the Trinity - One God now and forever, sometimes we just need to sit at his feet and give our life again and really lay it all down for him.   So, in my expectancy, God met me face to face and walked me all the way through those months.  I was a single mom with two boys, 18 mo and 31 mo old.  Jesus took ahold of my heart again and never let go.  He shared with me during these months that He loved me, that He loved this baby and s

In August/Sept 2009, God had told us we were going to be leaving BY next Sept. He gave us some other visions and he was so right, of course!  He also told me to teach the kids I worked with "His Word"!  So, I did.  I was also going to school at this time, I have since completed with a total 3.90 gpa!  In December 2009, my dear husband found that dream of traveling.  He so wanted to travel up to Montana, through Idaho, Washington, down to Oregon to find the dirt yurts, through California to the Redwood Forest, through the Nat'l parks and through places we have dreamt about.  We wanted to see the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Then off to Aches NP and down though Colorado and down to TX and then wherever the road led us.  We wanted to see the colors change along the New England coast. At this crossroads, we knew God had already called us out, we just didn't know to do what.  It wasn't until January of 2010 that God spoke clearly, audibly and

Hi there- Today we want to share a bit more of our heart with you.  Through this blog, our heart is very transparent and very real.  So, here are cracked pots and we want to share a story of a person who was like a broken or cracked pot that the Lord made into a beautiful pot that occasionally has a few cracks that get repaired through time and learning.  Maybe this one makes more sense to some, I have always thought of myself as the woman at the well in John 4.  Here's the story in Kids' language. The Children's Chapel is and Award-winning site, featuring Bible stories from  variety of authors, excellent Christian resources for children, and over 140 links to other Christian and family-friendly sites for kids. The Woman at the Well - A story about the woman of Samaria by Brian Carlisle         "Hey, would you like to go to church with me on Sunday?" Greg enthusiastically called to his friend in the school hallway. "Our Sunday school class is having a

Along the way...

What have you learned along the way?  Along the way I have learned a lot!  Along this journey of life, I have learned that I am important, what is right and what is wrong.  When to talk and when to be quiet- that was a tough lesson too!  But what I learned was important to listening to others and being able to process what others say.  It also keeps my mouth from stepping out and putting my foot in it!  I have learned to enjoy life and not to worry all the time.  I have learned to love my kids no matter what they have done.  They are all adults now and their choices are theirs and because we have reared wonderful kids, we trust that they will make wise choices, even if they don't I could never imagine disowning them ever.  We may not like or agree with something, but it is their choice to do it.  Respecting your children is so important and respecting their spouses as well.  This is what the Word of God has to say about Love. 1 Corinthians 13   1 If I speak in the tongue

This day was a difficult day, at the time it was unbearable!  David (my son) at age 6 1/2 yo, knocked on heaven's door and entered into God's home.  David fought a good fight and his life wasn't easy.  David had many handicaps against him.  He had his first surgery at age 2 mo. The Dr's opened up his head for a craniostenetosis.  What's that?  David's soft spot grew closed at about 6 weeks and our wonderful nurse Laurie G. from WIC noticed this first.  The ball started to roll rapidly down hill, life changed so incredibly fast.  David had the first of many surgeries.  Through this surgery, David lost his hearing.  We didn't know this until about age 18 mo, when he started school at this age.  David went through several changes as we did.  At age 2, David got a new little sister who was God's gift to him.  He also has a big brother who kept us very busy.  The new little sister came and taught David how to crawl and walk, it was like having two babies at

Good Beautiful Morning!  Our hope is this is the Day!        The day to seize the moment. The day to see miracles.        The day to see the beauty in all that there is.  The day to be a light in someone elses life.  We walk by faith, the Bible says, not by sight.  Faith in God and in what God says gives us a light (His Word) that shines on the road or pathway ahead. We may not be able to see everything going on all around us, but we do see to take the steps required just ahead. We can move forward, walking by faith, trusting in the wisdom and promises of God. In this life, we have lots of choices to make.  We can choose to use our free will to make those choices.  That freewill we have been given at birth allows us to make mistakes and make those u-turns and turn back to God.  A couple of days ago I wrote about writing the chapters in your book and how you would title them.   What would yours be titled?  I have really put a l

Good Cold Morning!  Wherever you are, keep warm! It's been a wonderful morning hearing from dear friends.  Keeping in touch on the road is an uplifting blessing that is most times very unexpected.  In our previous world, we were life changers for God.  We helped others see who God is and how much He loves us.  One of the ministries that helped me, was Hillsong Kids.  The church started out with just 40 people, 25 years ago, it is absolutely huge and growing in many nations and countries.  The music is heart and sold out for God.  It's fun and it's lively, it's heart quieting and personal.  They are following God's vision for their church and are changing lives for Christ.  Here is a link to "Tell the World", it is an incredible song. And yes, we moved like this too!  We knew all these moves to all the songs.  Yep, we moved and grooved for the Lord, just as David danced before the Lord. Didn't know I was so talented did ya!  Oh yeah, thanks to lot

Good very cold morning in most places

The Sun is shining but the winds haven't picked up yet and it is a bit chilly here in NW Florida!  I am sure it is chilly in many places.  I looked at the forecast in Omaha, NE and it's 3' with a windchill of -11!  Burr!  What is the temp where you are?  Is it bone-chilling cold or is it nice and toasty and you are ready for a house guest? We got groceries yesterday so we could stay in the next few days and stay warm, but we have a Bible study tonight anyway!  But we will still stay warm and study.  I know for some of you, when you hit my blog you didn't expect to get small sermons, but ya know, this is really us.  Our hearts desire is for you to really know Jesus as your own personal friend.  If you already do know him, do you have a daily renewal of your mind?  Is your tongue harnessed so that it doesn't set before you words that you can never take back?  Are those words a blessing to others or do they curse? Are your thoughts taken captive by God or by th
